I mean, the bit with the Comic Con Superchildish Miniature Mayhem Superman Wonder Woman Batman shirt guy who brings his evil coins and gets stabbed after being evil and doing evil and all his coins fall out stamped with Xerxes face cause he just carries them around was GoT levels of stupid. If there’s anything you can say about The Watchmen is that it definitely has the record for most gigantic blue penis screen time The entire movie is supposed to be a tall tale, which is why it’s so ridiculous with the creatures etc. at least, that’s how I look at it.
Comic Con Superchildish Miniature Mayhem Superman Wonder Woman Batman shirt, ladies tee, tank top, and v-neck
It has been over 10 years since this movie came out, and I can’t believe a Comic Con Superchildish Miniature Mayhem Superman Wonder Woman Batman shirt person could have been mislead into seeing this thinking it was some kind historical epic. Like, it would require being completely unfamiliar with the source material AND not having seen any of the trailers AND not having spoken to anyone about the movie. People also have to remember – the entire movie of 300 is being told by that one surviving Spartan, as a means to fire up the Greek army before battle against the Persians. Of course it’s going to be glorified and embellished! The imbelishments in 300 weren’t even that bad, considering. Most were either fun, necessary to condense the battle into a 2 hour story, or to create drama or suspense. If they depicted the 300 as heavily armored with 7,000 soldiers at their back, or the Immortals were just countless thousands of ordinary soldiers, or Xerxes was just a normal conqueror doing something his dad wanted…
Official Comic Con Superchildish Miniature Mayhem Superman Wonder Woman Batman sweatshirt, hoodie
The movie would have Comic Con Superchildish Miniature Mayhem Superman Wonder Woman Batman shirt I love the Samurai Vampire Immortals, the seven foot tall androgenous God-King, and the Spartans running around in capes and their underwear. And when you consider it’s a 2 hour movie based on a graphic novel based on a 2500 year old battle, they actually got more of it right than they even had to. The movie is also based on a comic book by Frank Miller not a historical novel. Don’t see how anyone would expect historical accuracy. Exactly! Frank Miller probably intended it as a case study of ancient war propoganda. It’s easy to see and when you look at it with that interpretation, everything makes sense.
